Apar Gupta, a graduate of Amity Law School, Delhi and holding a masters from Columbia Law School, New York is a lawyer by qualification. He has been running this blog since 2007 and his areas of academic interest principally fall within regulatory challenges to new and emerging technologies. He has authored a Commentary on the Information Technology Act, 2000  published by Wadhwa, Lexis Nexis. He regularly gives lectures and talks on the subject. Saptak Sanyal is a final year student at The National University of Juridical Sciences, India. His research interests include constitutional and administrative law, infrastructure regulations (Electricity and Telecommunication), legal theory, and environmental law. At present he is an editor of the Indian Journal of Law and Society and has published papers in various international legal journals on a range of topics. He has presented papers at different conferences in Europe, the US and the UK and has been associated with the TDSAT and TRAI (Government of India) on research projects.
